Climbing spikes or Spurs are for life not just for Christmas! Think about paying that little bit more for Quality Climbing spikes as the difference compared with cheap climbing spikes will be insignificant in the long term. Spikes come with a selection of Gaff (spike) lengths. Short Gaffs tend to come as standard and tend to be better for pole climbing. Choose long Gaffs if you tend to Gaff Out. Aluminium Climbing spikes tend to be the most popular but Carbon Climbing Spikes are arguably the best.
